Paul Louis Danan was an English actor who was best known for playing Sol Patrick in the Channel 4 soap opera, Hollyoaks, between 1997 and 2001.

In 2005, Danan appeared as a contestant on the first series of ITV's Celebrity Love Island and returned for the second series in 2006. Danan was also a contestant on the twentieth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.

Danan lived in Hertford, running a drama club for local children. He had a son, DeNiro, who was born in September 2015.

Danan died in the Brislington area of Bristol, on 15 January 2025, at the age of 46. Avon and Somerset Police confirmed his death and said that his death was not being treated as suspicious.
His death was also confirmed by his management agency, who gave no cause of death and said that no further comments would be made.
